It is with profound sadness that we share the passing of Aaron Johnson, a cherished member of the Austin-area Realty Texas family. Aaron was tragically killed in a hit-and-run accident on January 31, leaving a void in the hearts of many.
Aaron’s larger-than-life presence was impossible to ignore. Standing over six feet tall, he radiated a generous spirit and a genuine love for people. Known affectionately as a “real estate brat,” Aaron followed in his father Gale Johnson’s footsteps. Gale, a respected Dallas-area broker, shared his expertise with our firm, including a “Showing to Close” class in May 2024.
A proud MEGA 13 Valedictorian, Aaron wore many hats—handyman, security guard, and loyal friend. His true passion was real estate, especially remodeling historic homes and developing ranch, farm, and waterfront properties. He represented clients across East Texas, Dallas-Fort Worth, and the Cross Timbers region to Abilene.
Aaron is survived by his mother and two brothers living out of state. We ask everyone to keep his family and loved ones in your thoughts and prayers during this difficult time. Funeral arrangements are pending, and additional ways to support his family will be shared soon.
