Belleville mourns the loss of Colleen Dale Haskell, who passed away peacefully on January 29, 2026, at the age of 33. Born September 16, 1992, Colleen lived a life marked by passion, resilience, and a profound appreciation for beauty.
A talented photographer, Colleen owned a successful business where she masterfully captured life’s most precious moments. Her lens found joy in art, the great outdoors, and the innocent wonder of children. The tranquility of the cottage, with its connection to nature and the refreshing embrace of swimming, was her sanctuary. Her beloved cat, Jerry, was a constant companion.
Colleen was a woman of immense strength and determination. She faced her two-year battle with cancer head-on, never letting her diagnosis diminish her spirit or her pursuit of life’s pleasures. Her courage was an inspiration to all who had the privilege of knowing her.
She is lovingly remembered by her parents, Dale and Shelly; her brother, Geoff, and his wife, Janessa; and her cherished niece, Scarlett. A celebration of Colleen’s vibrant life will be held this summer in a setting that held special meaning for her, allowing loved ones to gather and honor the joy she brought into their lives.
