Diane Murphy, Massachusetts Beloved Carmela’s Bartender Has Passed Away
The Carmela’s Restaurant family is deeply saddened at the passing of our dear friend, bartender, and long-time team member, Diane Murphy.
Diane joined our family 18 years ago and became a cherished fixture. She was a supremely talented bartender who did so much more than make drinks. Diane built strong, lasting friendships with coworkers and regulars alike, greeting everyone with her radiant smile and outgoing personality.
A cornerstone of our team, she patiently taught countless new hires, ensuring Carmela’s warm culture thrived. Her loyalty was unwavering; she stood with us through the devastating fire that nearly closed our doors and through the challenges of the Covid years.
We will miss her expertly crafted cocktails, but we will miss her laughter, her spirit, and her genuine friendship far more. Our hearts and prayers are with Diane’s family and all who loved her during this painful time.
