Jacari Clark Shooting Lumberton,NC Death: Fatal Shooting Under Investigation at Morgan Britt Park Apartments
The Robeson County Sheriff’s Office is actively investigating a fatal shooting that tragically occurred during a domestic dispute at the Morgan Britt Park Apartments in Lumberton, North Carolina. The incident unfolded on Sunday, February 1, 2026, prompting a swift response from law enforcement.
Deputies were alerted to the situation at approximately 2:12 pm when they were dispatched to UNC Southeastern Medical Center in Lumberton. Upon arrival, they found an individual who had been brought to the hospital suffering from gunshot wounds.
The victim has been identified as Jacari Clark, a 24-year-old resident of Lumberton. Family members transported Mr. Clark to the medical center. Despite the best efforts of medical personnel, Mr. Clark tragically succumbed to his injuries.
The Robeson County Sheriff’s Office Homicide and Criminal Investigations Divisions have taken the lead in this investigation.
