In Loving Memory of Maxine Clare Towl
It is with profound sadness that we announce the peaceful passing of Maxine Clare Towl, who left us on 22nd January 2026, at her home, at the age of 72. Maxine’s courageous battle with cancer, fought with immense bravery, came to a gentle end surrounded by her loving family.
Maxine was the beloved wife of Rob, and the much-loved, truly amazing Mum to Kellie and Lowena. She was a cherished Mother-in-law to Ian and Marie, and a doting Nona to Jake, Kai, and Ned. Her warmth and kindness extended to a wide circle of family and friends, all of whom will deeply miss her.
A funeral service to celebrate Maxine’s life will be held at Glynn Valley Crematorium, Bodmin, on Friday 20th February 2026, at 2:30pm. The family requests that attendees wear something that reminds them of Maxine, rather than adhering to a strict dress code, to honour her vibrant spirit.
Family flowers only are requested. In lieu of flowers, donations in Maxine’s memory are welcomed for Derriford Hospital’s ‘Mustard Tree Macmillan Cancer Support Centre’.
