Tricia Jonyka Omaha, Nebraska Death-Hillside House of Hell Mourns Member
Tricia Jonyka from Omaha, Nebraska, was a beloved figure in our community and among our event regulars. She and her boyfriend Bill had been Season Passholders for over four years, attending nearly every event we hosted, especially during the fall seasons. Their dedication and love for the experience were evident, and Hillside became a cherished date night for them. Tricia had never been to a haunted house before, but Bill convinced her to come one night, and she was instantly hooked. Their joy and excitement brought us immense happiness, and we loved witnessing their bond grow stronger through these shared moments.
Tragically, Tricia was diagnosed with cancer, and her battle was relentless. She fought with unwavering strength for years, never backing down despite the challenges thrown her way. Her resilience and positivity left a lasting impression on everyone who knew her. She often expressed gratitude for the escape our horror nights provided, finding comfort and joy amidst her struggles.
Her passing leaves a deep void, but her spirit and kindness continue to inspire us. We cherish every memory and are grateful for the opportunity to have been a part of her journey. Tricia’s courage and love will always be remembered.
